Saturday Night Live did a sketch with Seinfeld as buffy the vampire slayer.  It was REALLY funny.

When was that? Is there a video of it?

Well I found this clip of it on seinfeld-fan.net:

http://www.seinfeld-fan.net/vc4.php

It's in the middle of the page (about) and it says 'A funny Seinfeld and buffy crossover SNL clip'. I actually thought it was funny. And stupid, but it's supposed be stupid (to an extent) since its SNL. It's a parody of the show. They're not trying to imitate them exactly.

I assume by "really funny" you mean, the most horrible showcase of hackneyed impressions and stale ideas since the history of sketch comedy.

I agree with you 100% here. The writers simply pushed out exagerrated stereotypes of Seinfeld without any wit or Seinfeldian jokes. Will Ferrell / Seinfeld was doing his material to nobody in particular, and the delivery and jokes themselves were bad. The only time I laughed was when Kramer got applause on his entrance.

It's like whoever wrote the sketch hadn't actually seen an entire episode of Seinfeld. It makes it clear how shows like Seinfeld are superior to 99.9% of other shows simply by using some subtlety! Anyway, the audience silence speaks for itself.

I disagree, I think that sketch was very well done. The only thing that could've been improved, perhaps, was George. But even he was done well. "Shower as a bat, Jerry".
