"No lessons, no hugging" was the rule of co-creator Larry David, so we should keep it going. Jerry and George hug in The Ticket. Kramer and Elaine hug in The Deal. Jerry and Elaine hug in The Bottle Deposit. Antonio The Busboy hugs George. This post has been edited by AstralCar: Jun 12 2008, 01:47 PM -------------------- Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society we live in, where nice is bad?

Oh my God,he is laughing so i have to feel bad about myself now...seriously man you have enough time to think of something better, the "OMG LOL you make me laugh" is really getting old especially we're not in a school yard anymore. Were you dropped on your head as a child, or did your mother just drink when she was pregnant? -------------------- Arrested Development is the first show I've grown to hate without ever seeing an episode.

You know, this would be insulting if a normal or even a retard person posted this comment, but believe me not from someone like you. Hell, even if I had Down syndrome,I'd still be a genius comparing to you. |

Are you guys serious? Friends is/was a great show. They redefined situational comedy at it's best and the humour was very modest which gave "friends" the edge to be very appealing to a vast demographic audience -- it was well-written (for the most part), fast-paced, and hilarious, however, no one can deny that it rode Seinfeld's coat-tails in the 1st 2 seasons (remember that sketch on SNL where David Spade said: I liked it better when it was called Seinfeld), but after season 3 almost every episode of friends was very original.
Although I'm a big fan of "friends', I've never cared for those mushy relationship moments nor for the "Ross and Rachel" extravanagnza and I've never liked Matt LeBlanc nor David Schwimmer. |

I don't think I've ever read anything more incorrect in my entire life. It's like you've got a patent on "wrong." -------------------- Arrested Development is the first show I've grown to hate without ever seeing an episode.

There is no right or wrong on this one no matter how much you disagree with me. What was "incorrect" exactly?

I understand if you find it funny, that's your call, but "redefined situational comedy at its best"? That's just wrong.

Ah long time no log in I forgot my password After reading my previous comment I think I was a bit too excited. Well, what I meant is if you saw enough episodes of friends (old ones) you would see that a big portion of the humor comes from the situations they fall in, rather than it's only from one-liners and jokes. Aside from it's popularity it was very well received by critics and won many awards which I don't think a poorly written show would have gained (I know I sound like a bad friends promo-commercial |

I thought the situations they fell in were the biggest reason the show sucked. They were either pure hacky sitcom situations or something from a soap opera.
