Newman, one of the least revered of all the main characters, much underated imo..
So lets see if anyone pays any attention to him at all.. How many times has newman been seen at Monks? 63483 Klompas points for the first correct answer.. -------------------- Believe me, I've ridden in a cadillac, Hundreds o' times... THOUSANDS!!

No, it's more than one.
Example: Episode 169 - The Cartoon http://www.seinology.com/scripts/script-169.shtml [Back to Monks, same day] (Newman shyly approaches the table) NEWMAN: Excuse me Miss Weaver, OH! My god it is you! I.. I've seen your show six times.. JERRY: What a surprise. NEWMAN: Aahh! You're great,It's great, It's so great to see a show that's (looks at Jerry) about something. -------------------- http://www.cooganphoto.com

The Butter Shave: Newman is sitting at Monk's and they serve this turkey with Kramer's head saying "hey buddy" and the turkey's wing is winking to Newman.

Newman was not a main character perhaps that is why he not revered as one. He is however usually revered as the best secondary character.
